Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University, Lucknow is happy to announce the 3rd edition of the RMLNLU- SCC Online International Media Law Moot Court Competition to be held from February 27 to March 1, 2015. The moot proposition shall be based on contemporary Media law under the common law. This year we are expecting participation from teams all over South Asia.
Institutions are requested to confirm their participation through provisional registration by December 1, 2014. Teams are requested to confirm participation by sending an email of their team composition by January 15, 2015 to rmlscconlinemoot@gmail.com. All participating teams shall be given SCC Online access cards upon registration of the team. Participants are therefore urged to register themselves at the earliest.

ACCESS TO SCC ONLINE WEB EDITION
Participating teams shall receive access to the Web Edition of SCC Online to facilitate research.
The SCC Online Web Edition is an extensive database of Indian, foreign and international law. The database contains judgments of not only all the Indian Courts, and most Tribunals and Commissions but also foreign courts such as South Africa, West Africa, Bangladesh, Supreme Court of United States, Supreme Court of Canada, Supreme Court of Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Tanzania, Uganda, Nigeria, Zimbabwe, Botswana and international forums such as the WIPO Domain Name Dispute Resolution Body. In addition to this it has an exhaustive article database containing articles from Supreme Court Cases and law journals of the top law schools of India. The statutory database is also quite exhaustive and so is the secondary material database, which contains the reports of Commissions & Committees, Constituent Assembly Debates, Treatises, Conventions and book Indices.
