Supreme Court: Acting upon the letter sent to the Court by the friend of Sushant Rohilla, a student of Amity Law School, Noida, who had committed suicide on 10.08.2016 due to allegedly being harassed for low attendance, the bench of T.S. Thakur, CJI and J. Chandrachud, J. took suo moto cognizance of the matter and asked Fali S. Nariman to assist the Court.
