Jindal-Stanford Conference on ‘Poverty, Corruption and Law: Conceptions, Expectations and the Limits’

The Centre for Postgraduate Legal Studies of Jindal Global Law School will hold the Jindal-Stanford Conference on ‘Poverty, Corruption and Law: Conceptions, Expectations and the Limits’ on 30th March, 2018. The conference will be held in the O.P. Jindal University Campus. The Conference is organized jointly by O.P Jindal Global University and Stanford University, USA. It offers an exciting exploration of the legal, political and social constructions surrounding poverty, law and corruption. The panelists include thinkers and practitioners from diverse fields. The Conference seeks to explore a range of methods – historical, comparative, political, philosophical, legal and statistical – to investigate challenges in the theory and practice of the linkages between poverty and corruption, including the existing and potential responses from law.
