National Law University Delhi hosted the 6th edition of Herbert Smith Freehills-National Law University Delhi International Negotiation Competition 6th-8th September. This is an invite-only competition, started in 2014 meant to be an initiative to bring students from top law universities across the globe, to participate in negotiations which close imitate the international environment.
The University hosted 40 teams from 11 different countries. The final rounds were between University of Oxford and Macquarie University, Australia which were judged by Mr. Chris Parsons (Partner and Chairman, India Practice, Herbert Smith Freehills LLP), Ms. Manjaree Chowdhary (Executive Director and General Counsel, Maruti Suzuki India), Ms. Meera Singh (General Counsel, KPMG India) and Mr. Rakesh Prusti (General Counsel, OYO), in which University of Oxford rose victorious.
