On August 19, 2021, the Ministry of Law and Justice has passed the Appropriation (No. 4) Act, 2021 for authorising payment and appropriation of sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of India for the services of the financial year 2021-22.
From and out of the Consolidated Fund of India, there may be paid and applied sums not exceeding the aggregate to the sum of one lakh eighty-seven thousand two hundred two crore and forty-one lakh rupees towards defraying the several charges which will come in course of payment during the financial year 2021-22.
