On October 05, 2021, the State Government of Karnataka has issued the Karnataka Stamp (Amendment) Act, 2021 to further amend the Karnataka Stamp Act, 1957.
The amendment modifies Article 20 (2A) (iii) and inserts “where the market value of which is above rupees thirty-five lakhs but up to and inclusive of forty five lakhs is three percent of the value”, has been inserted.
