SEMI-FINAL ROUNDS
11:55: Another day filled with great excitement and enthusiasm for the participants, panelists and the NUJS MC family! We are all geared up for the semi-final rounds of the competition!
11:57: Judges and participants have joined the virtual rooms. While the room is filled with tension and excitement, the judges have warmed up the room with their insightful conversations.
12:00: Overcoming the modalities of an online competition, the virtual rooms are now prepared to host the semi-final rounds of the competition.
12:04: the matchups have been declared and the participants are all set out to enter into the negotiations.
12:05: The semi-final rounds have finally begun.
12:11: The discussion in Room A has commenced.
12:20: With a slight delay, the rounds have finally kick-started in Room A. The mediator for the session has opened the floor for the negotiation.
12:25: The two parties, the government and the responding party’s members have introduced themselves. The Mayor from the government, the counsel for the government, the responding party’s client and counsel have all introduced themselves in Room A.
12:30: The Mediators have laid down the roadmap, rules, guidelines and objectives for the negotiation discussion between the parties in Room A.
12:35: The semi-final rounds have commenced in Room B. The mediators have commenced the negotiation session. The clients and counsels from both sides have introduced themselves.
12:35: The Mayor and the counsel for the government in Room A have delivered their opening statements.
12:40: The responding party’s client and counsel in Room A have delivered their opening statements.
12:40: The Mediators have laid down the roadmap, rules, guidelines and objectives for the negotiation discussion between the parties in Room B.

12:50: After insightful opening statements from both sides, the parties in Room A are now in negotiations with each other.

1:00: The responding party’s client and counsel in Room B have delivered their opening statements
1:08: After compelling opening statements from both sides, the parties in Room B are now in negotiations with each other.
1:10: With the agendas set amicably by both the parties, they have commenced with the joint session in both the rooms.
1:12: The parties in both Rooms are now in the midst of gripping negotiations. The parties have also employed private caucuses to discuss their needs, goals and objectives. As the tensions rise in the rooms, the negotiations can now be said to be in full swing.
1:25:The private caucuses in room A and B have now come to an end, and the negotiators and mediators are once again wrapped in a gripping joint caucus.
1:56: The negotiations in Room A have now come to an end.
2:04: The negotiations in Room B have now come to an end.
2:09: After captivating and gripping negotiation between the parties in both the rooms, the semi-final rounds have successfully come to a close. The teams are now awaiting results for the final rounds of the competition.

FINAL ROUND
5:00: The Final round of the competition has commenced. The mediators have discussed their plans and procedures of the forthcoming negotiation.
5:20: Laksh Kawatra, the convenor of the NUJS ADR society, introduces the esteemed panelists. The Final Round has officially commenced.
5:28: The Mediators have opened the floor for introductions of both parties, their clients and counsels.
5:30: The Mediators, M-02 and M-15, have delivered their introductory statements. They are now acquainting the parties with the parties with the guidelines, ground rules and procedure for today’s negotiation.
5:40: The Mediators have opened the floor for the opening statements from the parties. The client and counsel from team N-22 have begun delivering their opening statements.
5: 47: The Mediators have opened the floor for opening statement for the client and counsel from team N-14. The client and counsel are now delivering their opening statements.
6:03: The parties have successfully brought their insightful opening statements to a close. The parties will now be entering into negotiations with each other.
6:05: With the Mediators opening the floor for a joint session, the negotiations between the respective parties have taken off in full steam. The parties are now going back and forth with the mediators in order to flesh out their interests, concerns and objections. The agenda has been set by the mediators.
6:33: The Mediators have opened the floor for Private Caucus. Client and Counsel from Team N-22 have moved the floor for a private caucus. The Mediators are now in a private and confidential discussion with the client and the counsel.
6:46: Client and Counsel from Team N-14 have moved the floor for a private caucus. The Mediators are now in a private and confidential discussion with the client and the counsel.
6:54: With the end of the private caucus employed by both sides, the parties are now in the midst of gripping negotiations. The parties have already employed a private caucus to discuss their needs, goals and objectives. As the tension rises in the room, the negotiations can now be said to be in full swing.
7:04: The negotiations have now come to an end.
7:21: The judges and organising committee are now tabulating the scores of the final round.
7:27: The judges are providing the teams with feedback for their rounds.
7:40: After captivating and gripping negotiation between the parties in both the rooms, the final round of the competition have successfully come to a close.
