The problems of South Asia are common in many disciplines and also in many facets of social, legal and political life. Therefore, any attempt to understand the real issues of this region would be fruitless and irrelevant if a holistic attempt is not made. About International Seminar

The aims and objectives of the law have become complex & dynamic in contemporary society. The South Asian Region is also not untouched by this changing phenomenon. Therefore, to meet the changing requirements of the law, society and the implementing functionaries, the relevant stakeholders are obligated to the regular task of entertaining the emerging issues and challenges. This issue becomes more complex and pertinent when we specifically deliberate about the South Asian Region. The South Asian Region, being in its developing phase, is continuously facing social, economic and political turmoil, which not only tarnishes its international position but also weakens the legal structure working in the society.

Keeping the above outline in mind, the International Seminar is a platform to bring out and discuss all those legal issues and challenges with which the South Asian Region is struggling. At the same time, the changing dimensions of the law on account of distinct events in South Asian countries are inevitable to understand. This International Seminar, in this manner, shall be an inclusive forum for emancipating different ideas and solutions which can work as a guide to the South Asian Legal discourse in the present and the future.
