RMLNLU National Seminar on Menstrual Health Management

   

INTRODUCTION

Gender Champions of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University is organising a National Level Seminar and Conclave on ‘Menstrual Health Management’ (MHM) supported by Department of Higher Education, Government of Uttar Pradesh. Every month, 1.8 billion people worldwide menstruate. Millions of these girls, women, transgender persons, and non-binary people struggle to regulate their menstrual cycle in a respectful and healthy manner. Menstrual health and hygiene demands might be unfulfilled due to gender inequity, discriminatory social norms, cultural taboos, poverty, and a lack of basic amenities such as bathrooms and sanitary products.

CALL FOR PAPERS

This in-person conference seeks research papers/essays on the multidisciplinary subject of Menstrual Health Management. Presented Papers will be considered for publication with a reputed publisher. There will be prize for ‘Best Presenter’ and Certificate of Presentation to all the presenters. The paper topics may include but not limited to:

GUIDELINES FOR THE ABSTRACTS

(a) Abstracts should not exceed 350 words (word format), (Include maximum 5 Keywords)

(b) Font and Font Size: Times New Roman, 12, Line spacing 1.5 and Alignment ‘justify’.

(c) Abstract should mention the following specific details on the front page:

● Name of the Author

● Affiliation

● Designation

● Contact Number

● Email Id

● Title of the Submission

GUIDELINES FOR RESEARCH PAPERS

a) Length of full paper: 2500-5000 words

b) Font and Font Size: Times New Roman, 12, Line spacing 1.5 and Alignment ‘justify’

c) Footnotes: Font ‘Times New Roman’, Font Size 10, line spacing 1.5

d) Follow the Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation (20th Edition) for footnoting.

e) Policy papers will be eligible only if they cover important and contemporary issues.

f) Submissions must be original and not yet published.

g) Co-authorship is allowed.

h) Payment of Registration fees is mandatory for all the presenters and attendees. All authors must register separately.

TIMELINE OF THE CONFERENCE

a) Last date of submission of Abstract: 25.01.2023

b) Date of communication of Acceptance of the Abstract: 31.01.2023

c) Last date of Registration for the Conference: 10.02.2023

d) Date of Submission of Final Research Paper: 05.03.2023

e) Date of Conference: 17.03.2023 – 18.03.2023

● For Professionals/Academicians/Ph.D. Scholars: 1500 INR
