About the Organisers

Attorney’s Bar: Attorney’s Bar is a legal platform that provides a variety of resources and opportunities for law students and professionals to stay informed and grow in their field. The platform shares news updates and organizes events such as Moots, Courses, and Workshops, and several other competitions which allow legal fraternity to gain valuable knowledge and experience.

MNLU Aurangabad: All three are independent and autonomous institutions created under the Maharashtra National Law University Act, of 2014. The latest one added to the list of National Law Universities in India is the Maharashtra National Law University, Aurangabad, which commenced on March 16, 2017.

About the Competition

The 1st National Mediation Competition, 2023 is going to be held virtually on June 23rd-25th, 2023. This Competition is being organized by Attorney’s Bar in collaboration with Maharashtra National Law University Aurangabad in association with the Nishith Desai Associates, PSL Advocates & Solicitors, and Indian Institute of Arbitration and Mediation (IIAM).

The Attorney’s Bar recognizes the importance of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) in today’s fast-paced legal landscape. As part of our commitment to educating and training the next generation of legal professionals, we are pleased to announce this opportunity for law students to enhance their mediating skills through this competition.

Who is it for?

  1. The competition is open to every student pursuing a five-year or three-year course in law from various Schools/Colleges/Universities recognized by the Bar Council of India.

  2. For eligibility, it is hereby clarified that all the participants in one team shall belong to one institution only. No cross-institutional composition of teams is allowed.

  3. The provisional registration is to be done by the respective institutions officially. Each institution can reserve a maximum of six slots in the provisional registration.

Team Composition: Every participating team shall comprise of three students (one student as Client, one student as Counsel, and one student as the Mediator).

Registration Procedure

The teams are strongly encouraged to complete the registration form at the earliest possible.

Fee Details

The registration fee for the competition is INR 4,500. This fee is non-refundable and has to be paid by all teams.
