India and Sudan agreed to promote cooperation in Renewable Energy on 11-3-2014. India also offered to provide its assistance for developing renewable energy resources in Sudan. It was also agreed that Ministry of New & Renewable Energy would provide support for resource assessment and training in the areas of wind and solar energy through its technical institutions viz.
