National Law University Delhi in association with the National Academy of Law Teaching will be organizing the fifth edition of Annual Intellectual Property Teaching Workshop-2016 on 31st March and 1st April 2016. The workshop which boasts of a rich academic history will be organized by the Centre for Innovation, Intellectual Property and Competition (CIIPC) at National Law University Delhi. The previous sessions and workshops have been instrumental in identifying the broad challenges faced by the teachers of intellectual property in India, IP teaching techniques, use of information and communications technology in IP teaching, various issues initiating IP clinics in India, diverse issues involving curriculum development, student participation in IP activities, empirical research in IP, academic contributions to IP policy-making, and IP teaching beyond law schools with several keynote speakers and resource persons from India and abroad.
Centre for Innovation, Intellectual Property and Competition (CIIPC) of National Law University Delhi invites applications from academic scholars on intellectual property in India soliciting a short proposal (max. 1000 words) containing a small description of research questions (which must explanatory in nature) on the theme of the workshop. Applications containing the research proposal along with CV must be sent to ciipc@nludelhi.ac.in on or before 1st March 2016. Late entries will not be entertained. Selected candidates will be informed by 5th March 2016. Roundtrip airfare (economy) and stay at NLU, Delhi will be covered for selected participants.
