Competition Law in India is an evolving area and relatively young. There is a need for academicians, practising economists and competition enforcers to come together to discuss emerging issues, specifically relevant to the Indian context. Moreover, anti-competitive practices of Enterprises can lead to penalties as high as 3 times annual profit or 10% of annual turnover for each year of non-compliance! In this background, Symbiosis Law School, NOIDA has organised Seminar on “Competition Policy: What is the Correct Balance of Law and Economics?” by Emeritus Professor Richard Whish QC (Hon), Kings College London on November 11, 2016. The timings are 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon. Please register yourself by writing email to research@symlaw.edu.in on or before November 09, 2016.
