About Admit One: XI Edition
NLSIU’s theatre extravaganza, Admit One: XI Edition will take place from the 13th to the 15th of January, 2017 on the beautiful stage of KEA Prabath Rangamandira. In the year 2006, this fest was started as an attempt to provide an opportunity to the amateur talent. In the past ten years, the Admit One stage has witnessed innumerable talents that projected their ideas in an unparalleled manner.
Formats
This year, the formats that the colleges can sign up for are – The Conventional Format which would require a stage play which may be a one-act play, cutting of a full length play or any performance of a theatrical nature, and a new addition – the Musical Format which requires teams to perform a play which harmonises music and dialogues. We also have a special format for the young and aspiring theatre groups – the Emerging Theatre Round.
The registration amount is as follows:
1. Conventional Format – Rs. 650 per person.
2. Musical Format – Rs. 450 per person.
3. Emerging Theatre Round – Rs. 600 per person.
Accommodation can be availed at Rs. 600 per person per day. This includes breakfast from the 13th to the 15th of January. The teams can also avail of dinner at an additional cost of Rs. 60 per person per day for 13th January – 14th January, 2017.

5th January, 2017 – Last Date for Registration
5th January 2017 – Last Date for Payment (delivery of DD/Cheque), submission of synopsis, team photo and furniture requirements.
13th January 2017 – Registration on venue and Opening Ceremony
15th January 2017 – Closing Ceremony and Socials

1. Conventional Format:
Best Play: Rs. 40,000
Best Actor: Rs. 10,000
Best Actress: Rs. 10,000
2. Musical Format: Rs. 20,000
3. Emerging Theatre Round: Rs. 20,000
