The President in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of Article 217 of the Constitution of India appointed Justice Manojit Bhuyan, Justice Michael Zothankhuma, and Justice Suman Shyam, Additional Judges of the Gauhati High Court, to be Judges of the Gauhati High Court with effect from the date they assume charge of their respective offices.
The President in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (l) of Article 224 of the Constitution of India appointed Shri Paran Kumar Phukan, to be an Additional Judge of the Gauhati High Court with effect from 07th January, 2017 till 28th October, 2017, and Smt. Rumi Kumari Phukan, to be an Additional Judge of the Gauhati High Court, for a period of one year with effect from 7th January, 2017.
