The President in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 100 of the Constitution of Jammu & Kashmir, appointed Shri Justice Ramalingam Sudhakar, senior-most Judge of the Jammu & Kashmir High Court, to perform the duties of the office of the Chief Justice of that High Court with effect from 16th March, 2018 consequent upon the retirement of Shri Justice Badar Durrez Ahmed, Chief Justice of the Jammu & Kashmir High Court.
