Moot Court Competitions:
The team comprising Kishan Gupta, Nitansha Nema, Rashika Bajpai and Mrinal Pandey won the NLS Trilegal International Arbitration Moot. Furthermore, they also bagged the Best Claimant Memorial and the Best Respondent Memorial awards. Nitansha Nema was also adjudged as the Best Oralist.
The team comprising Samprathi Gowda and Sonakshi Banerjee qualified for the Pre-Final rounds of the 10th Nelson Mandela World Human Rights Moot Court Competition. The team was coached by Purushotham Kittane and Utkarsh Khandelwal. Their Oral Rounds are scheduled to be held in Geneva, Switzerland.
The team comprising Anupal Dasgupta, Anamica Singh, Shubhangi Agarwal and Priyanka Rai qualified for the world rounds of the ELSA Moot Court Competition, 2018. They broke into the top 4 at the regional rounds held at Bangkok.
The team comprising Shwat Awasthi, Siddhant Ahuja, and Anmol Adhrit won the UPES Techno-legal National Moot Court Competition, 2018.
Ishan Saxena, Shriji Pandey, and Raghav Raj Singh emerged as Semi-Finalists in the NLUO International Maritime Arbitration Moot Court Competition, 2018. Also, the team bagged the Best Memorial Award.
The team comprising Rajesh Yadav Divyank Yadav and Digvijay Singh won the award for the Best Memorial at the 8th Justice PN Bhagwati International Moot Court Competition, 2018.
Ahkam Khan, Divyansh Prasad and Utkarsh Kumar emerged as Semi-Finalists in the NLUJ Antitrust Law Moot Court Competition, 2018. Also, the team bagged the Best Memorial Award.
Pradyumna Poddar Parimal Kashyap and Ayushi Tiwari were finalists at the Symbiosis International Criminal Trial Advocacy Moot Court Competition, 2018.
Anubhav Bijalwan, Barkha Dwivedi, and Deeksha Gupta emerged as the Semi-Finalists at the 10th Justice Hidayatullah Memorial National Moot Court Competition, 2018. Deeksha was also adjudged as the Best Researcher.
The team comprising Sanyukta Srivastav, Namrata Yadav, and Aakriti Dwivedi qualified the Memorial Rounds of the Asia Pacific Regional Rounds of the Manfred Space Law Moot Court Competition, 2018.
Samprathi Gowda, Sonakshi Banerjee, Purushotham Kittane and Tushar Kumar ended up as the Semi-Finalists at the South Asian Rounds of the Oxford Price Media Moot Court Competition.
The team comprising Aditya Chhajed, Anshuman Singh, Saurabh Tiwari and Varun Agarwal made it to the semi-finals of the NLIU- Justice RK Tankha Memorial Moot Court Competition.
The team comprising Mrinal Pandey, Keerti Singh, and Utkarsh Khandelwal made it to the semi-finals of 10th GNLU International Moot Court Competition. It is one of the prestigious moots in trade law.
ADR Competitions:
The team comprising Shwat Awasthi and Kaustubh Srivastava won the mediation competition (as client-attorney pair) at VIPS, Delhi.
Aditi Vatsa and Sakshi Singh (attorney-client pair) emerged as Semi-Finalists in the Mediation Competition of Lex Knot 2018, organized by ICFAI Hyderabad.
The teams comprising Nischay Nehra, Anusha Rai, and Ashita Vyas & Srajika made it to the semi-finals in the Negotiation and Client Counselling Competitions respectively of Symbhav X, SLS Pune.
The team comprising Vinay Tripathi and Dwij Singh won the Mediation Competition at the 3rd National ADR Competition organized by Christ University, Bangalore and the team comprising Shwat Awasthi and Kaustubh Srivastava from the first year ended up as the Quarter-Finalist in the Negotiation Competition at the same event.
The team comprising Aakrishti Kumar and Alok Chaurasia ended up as runners-up at the National Rounds of Louis M Brown and Forrest S Mosten International Client Counseling Competition! The team just missed qualifying for the World Rounds to be held in Maastricht University, Netherlands.
Debate Competitions:
The team comprising Samprathi Gowda, Shreepath Jain, and Aayush Rastogi were adjudicated as Runners-Up at the IIT BHU Debate. Hearty Congratulations to Sanjana Gopal, and Ritika Srivastava for breaking in as Adjudicators.
Rythm Kataria emerged as the third best adjudicator at the Tamil Nadu National Law School Inter-Varsity Debate, 2018.
The team comprising Edwin C. Thangaraj, Dipendra and Darpan were adjudged as the runners-up at IIT Guwahati Parliamentary Debate.
The team comprising Samprathi Gowda, Satwek, Shreepath Jain and Aayush Rastogi won the Dr. DR Singh Memorial British Parliamentary Debate.
