GNLU-ADR Cell is pleased to announce the GNLU-ICC Lectures on International Arbitration. The ICC’s International Court of Arbitration is one of the leading arbitral institutions across the world, pioneering the effective resolution of international disputes since 1923. We are honoured to have partnered with the ICC India Arbitration Group to bring to our students the opportunity to learn from,  interact with the industry leaders themselves to inculcate the growing relationship between GNLU and the arbitral community.

About the Lecture: The lecture shall be conducted on Monday, 15th October 2018 at 3 pm in the Orientation Hall. The resource person for this lecture shall be Mr. Ajay Thomas, who will be speaking on the theme of “Maritime Arbitration“.

About the Resource Person: Mr. Ajay Thomas is an independent arbitrator and advocate based in New Delhi, India. From 2009-2016, he was Director and Registrar with the Indian subsidiary of the London Court of International Arbitration, also a member of the LCIA India Board of Directors. Prior to joining LCIA India, Mr. Thomas was a Counsel with the Singapore International Arbitration Centre. In addition to supervising the administration of arbitrations, Mr. Thomas was the Head of the South Asia desk of the SIAC. He also served as Assistant Counsel with the Singapore Chamber of Maritime Arbitration.
