Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab is organising the 8th RGNUL National Moot Court Competition, 2019 from 29th March-31st March, 2019 at the campus building of Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab, Sidhuwal, Bhadson Road, Patiala-147001, Punjab. This year’s moot proposition is based upon the principles of Constitutional Law & Criminal Law and the knowledge and skills of the participants shall be tested by the Hon’ble judges and practicing advocates of the various High Courts and the Supreme Court of India.
Eligibility
The participants should be enrolled in a five/three year law course from a recognized University in India. The team shall comprise of 3 (2 speakers + 1 researcher) or 2 (both speakers) members. However, in case of a 2 member team, none of the speakers shall be allowed to appear in the Researcher Test.
Registration Procedure
The teams shall register for the competition by sending soft copy of the completely filled registration form (Annexure-I of the Competition Rules) to mootcommittee@rgnul.ac.in
Fees Details
The participating teams have to pay a registration fees of INR 5,000/-via a payment link that shall be forwarded to the teams after they complete their registration.
Important Dates
Deadline for registration (Soft Copy): 15th February, 2019 by 05:00 p.m.
Deadline for registration (Hard Copy): 20th February, 2019 by 05:00 p.m.
Deadline for seeking clarifications: 25th February, 2019.
Deadline for memorial submission (Soft Copy): 15th March, 2019 by 05:00 p.m.
Dates of the competition: 29th March – 31st March, 2019.
