Around four months after the demise of its former Dean Prof. Dr. Mukund Sarda, Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) appointed Dr. Ujjwala Bendale as Dean, Faculty of Law. Dr Bendale has been working in BVP’s New Law College since 2001 as a faculty and Senior Coordinator. She holds expertise in various areas of the law and her primary area of research is Property Law. The topic of her Ph.D. thesis is “Reflections of Legislative and Judicial Trends on the Concept of Property”. She holds to her credit numerous research publications and presentations too and has been widely recognised for her pedagogical skills. She has won numerous accolades in her teaching career and her appointment to the post of Dean is a recognition of her abilities and calibre.
