About the organiser/college/university:
The Kirit P. Mehta School of Law (KPM SOL) of SVKM’s NMIMS (Deemed-to-be-University) established in the year 2013 approved by the Bar Council of India. We at Kirit P Mehta School of Law aims to provide quality legal education in order to meet the aforementioned challenges. The ‘Legal Skills’ built by KPM SOL during the 5 years period should enrich a student to convert challenges into ‘benchmark’ in legal world and withstand economic, social, political and judicial scrutiny.
About the conference:
The second edition of NMIMS School of Law’s Model UN Conference is taking place from the 13th to the 14th September’19 at the NMIMS University, Mumbai campus.
School of Law MUN first and foremost is a learning-oriented conference, where we attempt to provide students across India with healthy debate about significant global issues. This year, we anticipate a simulation of diverse and highly pertinent committees that will cover a wide array of geographical areas and time periods, and we are confident that every delegate will be able to find a SOL MUN committee that sparks his or her interest and allows them to truly blossom as a diplomat.
Who is it for/eligibility:
SOLMUN’19 is open to all college students and all school students from standard 8th to 12th.
Theme:
This year’s theme for our event is climate change. There are many facts which confirm that Climate Change is real and only if we’re proactive, then only do we have a chance from saving Earth, and we as an organization look forward to spread the word and make a small but real change.

The event will be held at NMIMS’ School of Law, Mumbai Campus, India.
