The Tribunal, Appellate Tribunal and other Authorities (Qualifications, Experience and other Conditions of Service of Members) Rules, 2020 were notified by the Ministry of Finance on 12-02-2020.

Central Government made the above-stated rules in exercise of the powers conferred by it under Section 184 of the Finance Act, 2017.

These rules shall apply to the Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson, President, Vice- President, Presiding Officer, Accountant Member, Administrative Member, Judicial Member, Expert Member, Law Member, Revenue Member, Technical Member, Member of the Tribunal, Appellate Tribunal or, as the case may be, Authority as specified in column (2) of the Eighth Schedule of the Finance Act, 2017 which are as follows:

  • Industrial Tribunal constituted by the Central Government
  • Income-Tax Appellate Tribunal
  • Customs, Excise and Service Tax Appellate Tribunal
  • Appellate Tribunal.
  • Central Administrative Tribunal
  • Railway Claims Tribunal
  • Securities Appellate Tribunal
  • Debts Recovery Tribunal
  • Debts Recovery Appellate Tribunal
  • Airport Appellate Tribunal
  • Telecom Disputes Settlement and Appellate Tribunal
  • Appellate Board
  • National Company Law Appellate Tribunal
  • Authority for Advance Ruling
  • Film Certification Appellate Tribunal
  • National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission
  • Appellate Tribunal for Electricity
  • Armed Forces Tribunal
  • National Green Tribunal
