Symbiosis Law School, NOIDA Team – Mr. Ishu Gupta, Ms. Bhavyanshi Dariya Third Year Learners and Mr. Naimish Tewari, Second Year Learner participated in the 11th NLU Antitrust Law Moot Court Competition, 2020 organised by the National Law University, Jodhpur from March 13-15, 2020, and was adjudged Winners of the competition.
A total of 42 teams from across India, including several National Law Schools, participated in the said competition. The team received a prize of INR 45,000/- along with one-year subscription to SCC online and EBC. The team has also been promised an internship with Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas.The moot proposition was based upon the validity of wide parity agreements and the question of material influence, which can be exerted by an investor in detriment of competition in a relevant market, in light of the provisions of section 3 and section 4 of the Competition Act of India, 2002.
