The NLIU Law Review is the flagship journal of the National Law Institute University, Bhopal. It is a peer-reviewed academic law journal, published biannually by the students of the University. The Law Review aims to promote a culture of scholarly research and academic writing by bringing to the forefront, articles on subjects of interest to the legal profession and academia.

The NLIU Law Review is now inviting manuscripts for Volume X, Issue I of the journal. The Law Review does not restrict itself to any particular area of law and welcomes contributions from all branches of law, as long as the work is relevant, up to date and original. The author(s) are expected to adhere to the submission guidelines mentioned below:

I. Criteria for Evaluation – Language, structure, contribution to existing literature, contemporary relevance, research.

II. Style Guidelines – The main body of the article should be in the following format: Times New Roman, size-12, 1.15 line spacing, justified.

III. Citation Standards – Citations must conform to standards laid down in OSCOLA (4th edition). Submissions must use only footnotes as a form of citation. Substantive footnoting is not encouraged.

IV. General Guidelines – Submission must be accompanied by a covering letter including the name of the author, their email id, contact number, and name of their institution. The manuscript itself should not contain any information that can be used to identify the author. Submissions must only be sent in electronic form, via email. All submissions must be in .docx format. Papers submitted must not be written by more than two authors. Papers must contain an abstract of 250-300 words, inclusive of the word limit. V.  Types of Submissions and Requirements –

Articles: 5000-10000 words
Case Notes: 2000-5000 words
Legislative Comment: 1000-3000 words
Book Reviews: 1000-3000 words

The word limit is exclusive of footnotes.

All submissions are to be made to lawreview@nliu.ac.in before 23:59 hours on June 30, 2020.
