A team of 4th-year law students representing Symbiosis Law School, Pune at the South-Asia Rounds of the prestigious Oxford Price Media Moot Competition, 2021 has won the Winners title. The team included Anukriti Randev, Akshay Ayush, and Sabreen Hussain.
The said South-Asia rounds were virtually hosted by NLU-Delhi from 11th-14th February 2021. This year’s moot problem dealt with the contemporary issues of freedom of expression and assembly online and offline, and disinformation during an epidemic outbreak.
SLS Pune will go on to represent India at the International rounds scheduled to be held later this year. NLS Bangalore also qualified for the same.
