Amity Law School Lucknow Campus hosted its first online Legal Conclave 2021 Organized by the Legal Aid Cell held on 25th February 2021.
In furtherance of the Legal Conclave, 2021 we called for entries including poetry writing, essay writing, motivational blog writing, nukkad natak and slogan writing on the themes:
1. Sexual harassment of women an ‘epidemic’.
2. Limited Access to education for women.
3. Women as second-class citizens.
4. Women’s Reproductive Rights.
5. Women’s right and economic empowerment.
6. Socio-legal reforms empowering the woman.
7. Societal challenges in accepting the reforms for the women laws.
8. Significant increase in Cyber Crimes Against Women During Lockdown
9. Honour Killing: A Crime in the name of Honour.
10. The Fight for Women’s marital Rights in the Past and Present.
Purpose and Aim :
• CREATING AWARENESS AND EXPANDING KNOWLEDGE OF INTERNATIONAL ISSUES AND CONFLICTS, AS OF NATIONAL INTERESTS AND MOTIVES.
• AWARENESS ABOUT WOMEN’S RIGHTS AND THEIR ROLE IN SOCIETY THROUGH A GUEST LECTURE BY TWO GUESTS ON THE DAY OF LEGAL CONCLAVE’21
• LEARNING ABOUT THE VALUE OF MULTILATERAL DISCUSSIONS.
• ENGAGING INTER-REGIONAL STUDENTS THROUGH INTERCONNECTIVITY.
The selected entries for poetry writing, essay writing, motivational blog writing shall be published by an international publication house in a form of a book with an ISBN.
