After receiving an overwhelming response to the previous Edition of Symbiosis Law School, Pune – International Criminal Trial Advocacy Competition, we are glad to inform you that the Sixth Edition of Symbiosis Law School, Pune – International Criminal Trial Advocacy Competition [SICTA] will be held from May 7–9, 2021 virtually.

The Competition is based on the simulation of the Trial Chamber of the International Criminal Court and pertains to rules and structure as enshrined in the Rome Statute of ICC.

The theme for the sixth edition of SICTA is – “Prosecution Revolving around State and Judicial Apparatus as an Accessory towards the Commission of International Crime(s)”

The maximum number of participants per team shall be restricted to 3 (2 speakers and 1 researcher) or only 2 speakers.

The Competition shall have teams representing three sides – Prosecution, Defense or the Victim(s) in the various rounds of the Competition. There shall be three preliminary rounds followed by the semi-finals and the final.

Important Dates: The participation in the competition is limited to 24 teams. The registration is based on first come first serve basis. The teams can send a provisional registration at symbiosismoot@symlaw.ac.in
