Symbiosis Law School, Pune established in June 1977, epitomizes excellence in legal education. It stands tall with the India Today Nelson Survey ranking the institute among India’s top 10 law schools and the Bar Council of India conferring it with the Gold-star Award in 2013. In a journey of 38 years, it has achieved various milestones in teaching, learning, and research. Symbiosis Law School, Pune shall be hosting the 13th edition of our Annual Cultural Fest, Symbhav 2021 from 28th-30th April. ‘Symbhav’ is a student-driven cultural extravaganza which aims to bring together students from different disciplines across the country and abroad to provide a platform for mutual learning and growth.
The fest hosts over 40 events this year including the 4th edition of our SLS-P Conclave’21 where we aim to provide a platform for expounding new ideas, deliberating upon new themes and delving into the creative minds of India’s youth via organising an International Legal Panel Discussion-cum-Interactive Session with eminent personalities. This year, Conclave aims at building all-around knowledge and hone various analytical and intellectual skills of the students through discourse and discussion.
The legal panel discussion-cum-interactive session seeks to encourage a culture of deliberation within the college on various socio-economic-legal topics. It will act as a forum where the students shall have the opportunity to inculcate within themselves an acumen for the legal analysis and supplement their academic learning with legal awareness. The platform will not only allow the audience to witness an engaging dialogue between the most revered legal figures of the country but also to express and clarify their own views and opinions by way of the interactive session.
In its editions spanning the past decade, Symbhav has achieved the status of being Pune’s biggest fest with massive student participation from all over India. It has hosted eminent personalities such as Hon’ble Justice Dinesh Maheshwari (Judge, Supreme Court of India), Hon’ble Justice Abhilasha Kumari (Member, Lokpal of India), Hon’ble Justice Revati Mohite Dere (Judge, High Court of Bombay), celebrated artists like Karan Johar, Ratna Pathak Shah, Farhan Akhtar, and Kailash Kher; and eminent sportspersons such as Ashwini Ponappa and P.V. Sindhu. It has also collaborated with media entities such as Hotstar, Bloomberg, and Radio Mirchi.
This edition of SLSP-Conclave 2021 on the 25th of April, 2021 shall entail an Online International Legal Panel Discussion on the theme, “Global Trade Practices in the era of Digitalization”.
