On August 17, 2021, the Commercial Taxes Department (Bihar) has issued a notification regarding waiving of penalties issued under section 125 of Bihar GST Act.
Section 125 specifies that an invoice issued by a registered person, whose aggregate turnover in a financial year exceeds five hundred crore rupees shall have Dynamic Quick Response (QR) code. The penalty of Section 125 has been waived off between the period from December 01, 2020 to September 30, 2021.
