The Central Government extends the provisions of the Employees’ State Insurance Act, 1948 to the classes of establishments specified in column (1) and situated within the areas specified in column (2) of the Schedule hereto, with effect from the 1st day of June, 2022.

| 7 | Educational Institutions (including public, private, aided or partially aided) run by an individual, trust, society or other organisation; |

| 8 | Medical institutions (including corporate, joint sector, trust, charitable and private ownership hospitals, nursing homes, diagnostic centres and pathological labs). |
