GNLU

Gujarat National Law University is known for its stellar placement record. The first offline post-pandemic Day Zero was conducted by the Committee of Recruitment Affairs, the principal body entrusted with the responsibility of managing and conducting the recruitment process in GNLU. It was conducted on the GNLU campus from 3rd August to 5th August, 2022 and it witnessed the participation of 10 firms- Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co., Trilegal, IndusLaw, Khaitan & Co., Luthra and Luthra Law Offices India, Argus Partners, Finsec Law Advisors, AZB & Partners and ICICI Bank. With as many as 114 offers from law firms across India, the GNLU batch of 2023 has broken all records. With 39 pre-placement offers and 75 placement offers in the recently concluded Day-Zero, this year witnessed the highest number of offers in the history of GNLU.

Mass recruiters among the 10 law firms from GNLU were Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas with 35 offers, followed by Trilegal with 12 offers. IndusLaw made 9 offers, whereas Khaitan & Co. made 7 offers. Luthra and Luthra Law Offices India made 4 offers, while Argus Partners made 3 offers. Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. made 2 offers, and Finsec Law Advisors, AZB & Partners, and ICICI Bank made 1 offer each. Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas gave 11 PPOs to the students of GNLU raising the count of offers to 46, which is the highest number of offers from CAM to GNLU. A student has also secured a training contract from Linklaters. While 114 offers have already been made, this recruitment will continue till the very end of May 2023.

These figures are nothing but a reflection of the sheer hard work, dedication and perseverance by the Committee of Recruitment Affairs, faculty members/staff/students involved and undoubtedly, the Batch of 2023. The GNLU community wishes them all the very best for their future endeavours.
