Centre for Human Rights and Subaltern Studies, NUSRL, Ranchi along with the National Commission for Women are organising a workshop on ‘Promotion of work for housewives: Career counselling sessions for home makers.’ The counselling session has been designed to make the housewives ponder about the idea of their participation in jobs or business ventures apart from their households. It seeks to make them understand the importance of their financial interdependence, not only for themselves but also for their family members and children.
The inauguration note would be delivered by Hon’ble Mr. Justice Surya Kant, Judge Supreme Court. Hon’ble Mr. Justice Dr. Ravi Ranjan, Chief Justice, High Court of Jharkhand, Hon’ble Mr. Justice Rongon Mukhopadhyay, Judge, High Court of Jharkhand, Ranchi, Prof. (Dr.) V. Vijaykumar Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, NLIU, Bhopal, Prof. (Dr.) Srikrishna Deva Rao, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, NLU, Delhi and Prof. (Dr.) Kesava Rao, Vurrakula Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, NUSRL, Ranchi would also grace the event with their presence.
