ILNU | ‘Samanvaya’ 1st Annual Conclave on Corporate Law and Finance

About the Organizers:

We at the Centre for Corporate Law Studies (CCLS) have always strived for imparting inspiration through our ventures. Consequently, we propose to organize a conclave on several programs on Corporate Laws. It is an initiative aimed to bolster the corporate drive of the students inclined towards Corporate Laws. The activities in the conclave are planned in accordance with the interests of students and the allotment of a distinct Expert for each topic. To align the sessions with ongoing semester, this series will focus largely in the area of Capital Markets, Securities Law, Corporate Restructuring and Private Equity.

What is Samanvaya?

Samanvaya aims to serve as a forum for stakeholders in the corporate law and finance sector to come together, learn from each other, and work towards building a more resilient and dynamic industry. With an aim to provide the participants a chance to directly learn from the experts through practical scenarios rather than theoretical knowledge. Being in touch with the best practices in the industry will also help the participants understand the industrial trend and market practice that they would be equipped to know.

Overview of Event:

• The session will begin with a short introduction of the Chief Guest, Partners and Moderators who are the esteemed guests for the session.

• The guest will be addressed with a welcome token at the starting of the event.

• A Key Note Address will be made post this by the Chief Guest of the day on the topic related to the theme.

• Following the key note address, there will be a Panel discussion on the research questions related to the theme of the day. The guests (Partners of the firms) will share their expertise, views and experiences during the discussion. The discussion will be moderated by a practicing Senior Associate.

• Post discussion, follow up questions from the audience will be addressed by the panelists.

• The event will end with token of thanks and honor to all the guests.
